From Monday 20 September Piedmont will start with the administration of the third dose. This was announced by the president of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio, to whom in the past few hours Commissioner Figliuolo has anticipated the green light from next week to the new phase of the vaccination campaign. It will begin with the immunosuppressed and transplant recipients, who have already received two doses of the vaccine in Piedmont. As has happened so far, no pre-accession will be necessary, because it will be the specialized hospital centers that treat them to summon the immunosuppressed.
