The episode took place yesterday Sunday 12 June
CAGLIARI. Another episode of violence in a hospital emergency room. Yesterday, June 12, a 42-year-old man, with a police history, showed up in an evident state of drunkenness in the one of the Brotzu hospital and after having insulted, without any apparent reason, the medical staff of the triage, he came to show them threateningly a switchblade in his pocket. A phone call to 112 brought the carabinieri of the mobile group who stopped the drunkard and searched him, finding in his pocket the knife used to intimidate the emergency room staff. The man was reported in a state of freedom to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Cagliari, for aggravated threat and carrying weapons or objects capable of offending.(l.on)
