LIVORNO. An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 was recorded at 6.21 in front of the Livorno coast. According to the findings of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (Ingv), the earthquake had a hypocenter at a depth of 13 kilometers and an epicenter 15 from Livorno. The quake was clearly felt by the population, but at the moment no damage to people or property is reported.
The civil protection of the Municipality of Livorno informs that as a precaution schools of all levels will be closed today to assess any critical issues in the structures. At the moment, however, no damage to people or things has been reported. There were also two successive shocks from 2.0 and 2.1.
