A 17-year-old boy in Treviso was robbed. The computer, the next day, started transmitting the location signal, hence the action of the judicial police unit of the local police who did everything to identify where exactly the laptop could be found.
TREVISO. He was walking the other night along the walls, between the Manzoni pass and the Filippini pass, leaving the backpack unattended for a few seconds: at that juncture the theft with dexterity occurred which saw a 3,000 euro laptop stolen.
A 17-year-old resident of Treviso was a victim of the crime but, together with his mother, he immediately activated by calling the Local Police Headquarters.
The computer, the next day, started transmitting the location signal, hence the action of the judicial police team who did everything to identify where exactly the laptop could be found.
“It was not at all easy – explains commander Andrea Gallo – to be able to locate the computer, since the signal was activated only for a few moments and in always different positions. Among other things, he came from a very populous area of Treviso, such as the Selvana district, where there are hundreds of houses and therefore identification was particularly difficult “.
The investigations involved the analysis of hundreds of households and in the end a house was identified where there was a Kosovar citizen with a specific history of theft. Hence the request to the Treviso Public Prosecutor’s Office which in a few hours issued the search warrant: “Thanks to the close collaboration with the public prosecutor – underlines the commander Gallo – it was possible to proceed with the search of the house. The laptop, stolen a few days earlier, was found inside a wardrobe ”.
For the Kosovar, a 37-year-old resident in the Selvana area, the complaint was filed for aggravated theft while for the 17-year-old the satisfaction of being back in possession of his expensive computer.
