[New Tang Dynasty Beijing time August 24, 2021]Recently, a video posted on the Internet showed that a citizen of Zhengzhou, Henan Province was smashed and killed in order to prevent the car from being flooded. The citizen was alleged to be an auxiliary police officer in a local street.

On August 23, the video attracted attention on mainland social platforms. In the video, residents in the community where the deceased was located were onlookers around the vehicle involved. One of the residents said, “Because of the forecast rain, I was afraid that the car would be soaked in the rain, and the vehicle would be smashed to death by myself.”

The “Beijing News” reported that day that the deceased died after being driven by bricks to prevent the vehicle from being flooded by heavy rain.

According to the residents of the community, due to heavy rain in the weather forecast (to prevent the car from being soaked), the deceased went to the vehicle and drilled under the vehicle. When he jacked up the double front wheels, the car slipped and the car swayed and the person was crushed to death. No one knew when the incident happened.

Residents disclosed that the victim was over 50 years old and there were no other people in his family; the incident occurred at around 11pm on the 20th, and the neighbors discovered that he was crushed to death the next morning.

According to the report, the person in charge of the community involved confirmed the incident and claimed that the deceased was a staff member of a street who was hired by a third-party labor service company and was engaged in police assistance work during flood control.
