Investigations on infections in the home for the elderly “Casa Bonaria” during the first wave of the pandemic
SASSARI. Two people are being investigated for the deaths of two people and for covid 19 infections that occurred in the first wave of the pandemic, in the home for the elderly “Casa Bonaria”, in Torralba (Sassari).
The Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Sassari notified the suspects today of the notice of conclusion of the investigations to the legal representative of Bonaria srl and to another person who exercised the legal powers of the employer.
The investigations conducted by the Carabinieri of the Nas of Sassari, with the collaboration of the Spresal and the coordination of the prosecutor, Gianni Caria, have identified the crimes of multiple manslaughter, culpable epidemic and violation of the rules protecting the health of workers.
