On October 24, the Daxing Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau issued a notice showing that on October 23, the Daxing police received a report saying that some tourists violated the rules of the park in the Beijing Wild Animal Park and got off their vehicles and trespassed into the Baihu exhibition area, seriously disturbing the order of public places. . After investigation and evidence collection by the police according to law, the perpetrator Jiang (male, 56 years old) has been criminally detained in accordance with the law, and the case is under further investigation.

Earlier, the Beijing Wildlife Park issued an official statement stating that at around 14:00 on October 23, tourists illegally broke into the Baihu exhibition area in the self-driving area of ​​the Beijing Wildlife Park. Fortunately, the intruder was not injured due to the safety protection device in the development zone and the full rescue by the on-site staff. The animals in the exhibition area will exit the exhibition area after the staff have driven away and return to the animal shelter safely.

The situation disclosed in the statement was that on the afternoon of the 23rd, when the staff responsible for the safety inspection of the White Tiger exhibition area patrolled outside the exhibition area, they discovered that a tourist suddenly got off the self-driving vehicle in violation of the regulations, ignored the dissuasion of the staff, and accelerated the pace instead. After running over the protective slope, jump into the isolation ditch of the exhibition area. During the rescue process, the intruder never obeyed the rescue command of the staff, climbed from the bottom of the isolation ditch to the inside of the exhibition area, confronted the 11 white tigers in the exhibition area, and constantly used words and actions to provoke the animals. Due to the multiple safety protection facilities and equipment in the exhibition area, there has been no substantial contact between the intruder and the animal. The Beijing Wildlife Park quickly activated a safety emergency plan after an emergency occurred, and used food lures, throwing firecrackers and other methods to drive animals away from the exhibition area.
