Treviso, Cassamarca Foundation now yields to tourism. A B & B with 13 rooms in Ca ‘Zenobio

The historic residence of Cassamarca becomes a pole of hospitality. A literary café will open, the agreement with Gruppo Undici

TREVISO. A large B & B, inserted in a cultural and recreational center. This is the future of Ca ‘Zenobio, the beautiful estate in Via Santa Bona owned by the Cassamarca Foundation, which has been in semi-disuse for years and can be seen after the closure of the projects that had been started there. It starts in the middle of the month, the advertising launch on all the main search engines and online booking is ready.

the official request

In recent days it was the Foundation itself that leaked its intentions to relaunch the ancient residence which, for some time, had also become a “buen retiro” for former president Dino De Poli. But he had kept the best ace up his sleeve, perhaps the most attractive for the future of the villa: 13 rooms to be rented for tourists, all ready, set up, prepared to welcome guests and tourists from all over Italy and all over the world. . The practice was officially opened with the Municipality of Treviso in recent days: the Foundation has in fact asked to review the intended use of part of the property that was once residential and office, replacing them with accommodation and commercial destinations. The answer is awaited, but it seems that the road is cleared also because, on closer inspection, the Foundation’s projects will benefit all of Santa Bona, as well as the private coffers.

Plan

The project sees the Undici Group, a reality formed two years ago and already very active in the tourism and catering business with projects for the enhancement of properties or direct management, alongside the Cassamarca Foundation. The Group is based right in the historic center of Treviso, is led by Gianluigi Salerno, and has obtained from Ca ‘Spineda the management of the historical compendium of Santa Bona without prejudice to the central body which will remain in the hands of the Foundation. In the areas granted to her, Gruppo Undici will set up and manage a literary café (with restaurant potential) open every day to the public of the neighborhood or to visitors to the compendium, a museum activity but also and above all the tourist activity that will exploit all the spaces once set up for the campus of the musicians who were part of the Ca ‘Zenobio business. They are, as mentioned, 13 rooms with the capacity to accommodate about twenty people between singles and doubles, all equipped with services and amenities necessary for passing tourists but also for more permanent ones. To push the “B & b Ca ‘Zenobio” on the market will be both the unique historical context and the collateral activities proposed inside the villa.

tourism, culture, entertainment

The well-informed report that within a fortnight a program of events will be unveiled throughout the summer that will have as its center of gravity the villa, its restaurant or literary café, and its park, and which will make the tandem with the imprint cultural heritage that you want to give to all of Ca’Zenobio. There will be music but also theater, theme nights connected to the restaurant and various other. The intention is to turn the spotlight on a place that has been abandoned to itself for too many years, putting it back definitively and strongly at the center of the city panorama. It will benefit the Foundation – whose budgets have been heavy for years – which will see one of its properties enhanced (it cannot make a profit on its own) and the whole neighborhood will be able to enjoy it, devoid of poles of interest, encounter, culture. Treviso could also benefit from this, which in its light tourist offer (B & B and accommodation) would also see one of its many historic residences open … perhaps not the last.
