The Prevention Department of Ulss 2 has issued 20 measures: 17 classes have been placed in quarantine, for the emergence of multiple infections, or in monitoring for a single case. To provide details of the situation, Ulss 2: «Currently 7 quarantine measures have been issued, relating to 5 classes and 2 groups belonging to summer camps. At the same time, 13 monitoring sessions have been arranged, the recipients are 12 classes and another group of participants in the summer camp ». Of the 20 measures taken, 9 date back to today.
THE SENTINEL SCHOOLS
In the past few hours, the first round of screening with salivary tests was completed at the Cerletti institute in Conegliano, identified as a sentinel school for the control of the epidemic in the school environment. At the moment, no positivity emerged among the students who joined it. The Treviso health company reports that a total of 92 kits are collected, of which 20 cannot be processed because the collection was not carried out correctly. On valid samples of 72 tested students there are zero positives.
LO SCREENING CONTINUES
Cerletti is part of a first group of institutes that will involve 11,625 students at regional level over a few weeks and will be tested every 15 days. In Veneto, in addition to Cerletti, 72 institutes scattered throughout the seven provinces have been to the regional school office after a discussion with school managers for the administration of the salivary test. The institutions involved, called “sentinel schools” include in the Marca, in addition to Cerletti, a second high school of the Giorgi-Fermi institute in Treviso and some primary and lower secondary schools in the Conegliano area: Institutes 1 and 2 of Conegliano.
