The nun, named Giulietta Cambus, originally from Cagliari, was inside her room and died instantly. It was a tragic fate: it seems that her piece of furniture collapsed after the nun had opened a door.
To discover the now lifeless body of the sister were the other sisters who work in the structure around 19 on Wednesday evening. Not seeing her come down at the time they were waiting for, they went up to the room and discovered what had happened.
The call to Suem 118 was in vain. A patrol of police cars from the police station also intervened on the spot, who immediately ruled out the involvement of third parties.
