The two machines will be immediately put into service for emergency response as they are equipped with all instruments and active and passive equipment for the safety of the agents.

TREVISO. Two new cars for the local police. The fleet of the local police command is enriched with two new cars for operational services: these are two Skoda Octavia station wagons. The delivery took place yesterday by the Focaccia di Cervia company which set up the two vehicles. Both are equipped with a safety cell for the transport of people in a stopped or arrested state.

“This is a supply financed thanks to a contribution received from the Veneto Region which covered 50% of the costs for a total project of about 90,000 euros”, explains the commander of the Local Police Andrea Gallo. “The two cars will be immediately put into service for emergency response as they are equipped with all instruments and active and passive equipment for the safety of the agents.”

The renewal of the vehicle fleet began in 2019 with the arrival of some medium-sized cars for neighborhood services. Now, with the arrival of these two station wagons, the emergency service will also have new vehicles and by the summer two new bikes should arrive to replace the now obsolete ones.
