TREVISO. The investigation into the death of Sara Pegoraro, the model and influencer from Treviso, who died of an overdose about ten days ago in her mother’s home in Fontane di Villorba, took a double track. After the file opened for death as a result of another crime, which sees the investigators busy identifying the drug dealer who sold the lethal dose to the young woman from Treviso, here is a new hypothesized crime.
It is a crime that concerns the sphere of negligence and sees a psychiatrist of the Ulss 2 under investigation for having discharged the girl from the hospital, where she had been hospitalized 24 hours before dying from a first overdose, from which the doctors had managed to save her.
Evidently, before her resignation from Ca ‘Foncello, the young woman had been visited by a psychiatrist who, at the end, had seen no reason to keep her under treatment at the hospital. Unfortunately, not even a day later, the mother of the model and influencer discovered the lifeless body of the girl in her home in Fontane di Villorba. The cause: a second overdose. Could the tragedy have been avoided? This is what the prosecutor wants to ascertain, which has appointed the Venetian psychiatrist Pierandrea Salvo as its consultant to verify whether there has been any negligence on the part of the Ulss 2 professional.
