From 9 pm the performance of Musicstaff Italia. The will not to forget is a sign of rebirth
BELLUNO. A tribute to the city. A sign of hope and rebirth, after the long months of the pandemic that has upset the world and forced everyone to change habits. Lights and music to start again, but also to remember: the many, too many, victims of Covid, the commitment of health professionals, the sacrifices of citizens, not least a symbol of a country that has been able to unite in perhaps the most difficult moment of the its history. Tonight the Municipal Theater will be colored in white, red and green. The tricolor will illuminate the facade of the building, which is reopening to the shows after many, very long, months of closure.
The Corriere delle Alpi has proposed this idea to the Municipality of Belluno, which will be realized by Paolo Grossi of Musicstaff Italia. The artist will arrive in the city in mid-afternoon, to begin mounting the large lights towards the facade of the building, one of the city’s symbols and place of culture par excellence.
Paolo Grossi, from Tuscany, is a musician and an established event organizer but for some years he has also specialized in the creation of special lighting. For some months he has been touring Italy to pay homage to the cities and their most characteristic monuments with a virtual flag, which in the imminence of the Republic Day becomes, in Belluno, also a pleasant anticipation of the celebrations scheduled for Wednesday.
Together with the Corriere delle Alpi, and thanks to the fundamental welcome of the Municipality, Grossi will give the city an intense and engaging moment. “It is the passion that leads us to do something out of the ordinary, it is the spring that keeps us going,” he says. «I speak with music, mine is a“ scream of light ”to make it clear that our work, that of the artists, but also of those who set up shows and organize events, must not be forgotten. I am a musician but I also start the shows, set up the stages and organize events. We are the “invisible” ones, we are the ones who assemble structures, lights, audio, video ».
«Artists, musicians, the great family of the entertainment world, we are the living part together with technicians,“ experts ”, all those who normally do the show together», he continues. “But I also want to remember the victims of Covid with the Silence and the Hymn of Mameli, giving a sign of hope. Especially in view of the Republic Day ». These will be the two pieces that the artist will play with the saxophone, in front of the Comunale illuminated by the tricolor. The appointment is for 9 pm in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele.
