SAURIS. The Lumiei road will be closed from Monday 23 May, with a postponement of one week compared to the announced date of 15 May. The barriers will therefore be placed on the Sr 73 that connects Ampezzo and Sauris, to allow the natural tunnel to shine and then redo the road surface.
While the works are in progress, Sauris can only be reached through the Pura pass (normally closed in winter) or the Val Pesarina with passage through Veneto.
