A carabiniere who tried to stop a robbery in the pharmacy was stabbed by one of the bandits. The soldier, a brigadier of the anti-drug section of the nearby carabinieri company Oltredora, hit by three blows to the liver and lung, is in serious condition at the Giovanni Bosco hospital, where the provincial commander of the Arma went to check on his condition, general Claudio Lunardo. It happened around 7pm at the 12 municipal pharmacy of corso Vercelli 236, at the corner with via Lemmi.
The carabiniere, who had been in service in the Oltredora company for 10 years and before that in the Radiomobile Nucleus, was off duty and was buying drugs when two robbers with their faces covered, one armed with a pistol who later turned out to be a dog sweeper: the brigadier, after having thrown at the two some products on display, he immediately confronted the one holding the gun, managing to disarm him, but the accomplice rushed at him by unleashing three slashes with a knife. The two, grabbed the cash, managed to escape on a scooter. The soldier was rescued by an ambulance from the Green Cross of Villastellone which transported him, intubated, to the Giovanni Bosco hospital, where he entered the operating room to reduce in particular a bleeding lesion of the liver and one to the lung. Other police patrols intervened on the spot. The surveys are in progress.
