Turin to Glasgow: COP 26 is closer

On the eve of COP 26, the World Climate Conference, a fundamental event for our future and for the future of the planet, AWorld together with the United Nations brought together 200 thinkers, innovators and innovators from around the world. scientific, economic, institutional and civil society for a simulation of the COP26 negotiations.

At the end of the event, the audience of participants created four proposals that AWorld will entrust to the United Nations during the COP26 negotiations to be held in Glasgow starting from Sunday 31 October. Among the key points: regenerating biodiversity and expanding marine protected areas to 2030, creating a single global fund in which companies can communicate with institutions to address climate change and direct funds correctly and introduce a carbon pricing system to allocate an economic value to CO2 with the aim of helping companies and states to monitor and adapt their strategy to the potential risks and opportunities associated with the transition to a low-emission economy.

Accompanying the event, the immersive musical performance of Max Casacci, founder of Subsonica, who through the Earthphonia artistic project led the entire audience on a moving journey through the natural elements to listen to their voices and learn how to defend them.

AWorld in Support of ActNow is the official application of the United Nations ActNow campaign, which encourages individual action against climate change and aims to educate, involve and stimulate change in people.
