BRIDGE IN THE ALPS AND AURONZO. Two incidents occurred during the night between Saturday 22 January and Sunday 23 January in the province of Belluno.

The first occurred just before midnight at Bridge in the Alps. The Belluno firefighters intervened in Cima I Prà along the SS 51 for a car overturned after the injured driver lost control. The firefighters secured the car but had to use shears, retractors and hydraulic jacks to extract the stuck driver. The young man was then taken into care by the Suem staff who stabilized him and transferred him to the San Martino hospital for the necessary treatment. His condition was quite serious. The carabinieri who carried out the findings of the accident also intervened on the spot. The rescue operations ended after about three hours with the removal of the car by the roadside assistance.

Shortly before 1.30 am, a second frontal accident between two cars was recorded Auronzo along the road leading to the hospital: the two drivers were injured. The firefighters of the Santo Stefano detachment arrived on the spot and secured the vehicles. The two drivers, on the other hand, were taken care of by the 118 health personnel who transferred them to the emergency room for the necessary treatment.
