Tuxunjiang Aili has been in office for less than a year and a half.
On the 22nd, the Xinjiang Commission for Discipline Inspection notified that Miao Yi and Tuxunjiang Aili were both suspected of “serious violations of discipline and law” and are currently under review and investigation.
The 55-year-old Miao Yi (Han nationality) has long served in the Xinjiang Political and Legal Department. He used to be the deputy director and deputy director of the Aksu Public Security Bureau Office (since August 2004), the party secretary and director of the Shaya County Public Security Bureau, and Kuqa Member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Public Security Bureau, Director, and Chief Inspector.

Tuxunjiang Aili, the deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Xinjiang Agriculture and Rural Department, who fell with Miao Yi, is 53 years old, is a Uyghur nationality, and has a postgraduate degree.
Tuxunjiang Aili served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Kashgar Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Kashgar District, Secretary of the Xinjiang Committee of the Communist Youth League, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Deputy Secretary of the Ili Kazakh Party Committee and Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee; Since November 2014, he has served as Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Xinjiang Water Resources Department , Member of the Party Leadership Group, Secretary-General, and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the General Office of the Xinjiang Government; he was transferred to the Xinjiang Agricultural and Rural Department as Deputy Secretary and Director of the Party Leadership Group only in June 2020.
Before the fall of Miao Yi and Tuxunjiang Aili, there were also changes in Xinjiang’s officialdom this year.
