News leaked apparently unbeknownst to everyone
(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, OCT 29 – The sheriff of Albany, the capital of the state of New York, admitted that his office did not coordinate with that of the district attorney before indicting former dem governor Andrew Cuomo for harassing a former collaborator, Brittany Commisso. An unusual move by Craig Apple, points out the New York Times, according to which it is not yet clear whether the prosecutor David Soares will pursue the accusation.
The news of the indictment also went public online yesterday without the victim, Cuomo or his lawyer and the sheriff himself apparently knowing.
The latter regretted the leak, but assured that ‘the case is very solid’. (HANDLE).
