UDINE. The first day of reservations for the age group between 12 and 15 years – indeed, half day considering that the agendas were opened on Wednesday 16, at noon – closes with a thousand 110 subscribers. In the meantime, vaccination coverage in Friuli Venezia Giulia has reached – in the first dose – 53% of the population, while 23 coronavirus infections – of which three are migrants – were recorded on Wednesday, but not even one death.
Reservations under 16
The partial, updated at 6.30 pm on Wednesday, therefore, says that in the first half day of opening reservations for those between 12 and 15 years old, a total of one thousand 110 subscribers to the Region’s vaccination campaign were registered.
In general, however, a total of 3,000 623 subscribers have accumulated – taking into consideration all categories and age groups. Returning to the under 16s, however, it must be remembered that at the time of vaccination, minors must have informed consent with them, signed by both parents.
If one of the two is unable to sign it, the other parent must declare it by filling in and signing the appropriate form (available in the forms section of the Health Authorities) which must be attached to the consent.
The minor must be accompanied for vaccination by one or both parents: it is not possible to delegate third parties, even if they were family members.
On the other hand, the case of an unaccompanied minor entrusted to social services is different. In this case, the guardian, or the person in charge of the fostering facility, must complete and sign the appropriate form which must be attached to the consent.
The minor must therefore be accompanied to the vaccination by the guardian or by the person in charge of the custodial structure in the event that the guardian has not yet been appointed. It is not possible to delegate third parties.
The progress of the campaign
The data of the Government and the Region, updated at 3 pm on Wednesday, say that, in the meantime, in Friuli Venezia Giulia the resident population has reached 53% – including those under 12 years of age – covered with one dose, while on 23 , 6% also got the recall.
The age group that is most covered with at least the first injection is that of the over 80s (we are at 91.6%), followed by the 70-year-olds (79.9%) and the 60-year-olds (72.2%).
In terms of holiday locations, moreover, after Lignano, at the end of the month, Grado will be affected by a package of special vaccinations.
“On June 28 – said the councilor for Health Riccardo Riccardi – the building of the Grado tourist facilities (formerly the Sandblasting Center) will be made available for the administration of 250 doses of Pfizer for Covid to tour operators, who will then be able to receive the second dose on August 4 in the same location.
In the following days, and throughout the summer, the vaccination campaign will continue at the Grado clinic, which will dedicate one afternoon a week to vaccinating 50 people ». Reservations can be made from 12 noon on Thursday 17.
The day
With regard to the trend of the pandemic, moreover, on Wednesday in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on 4 thousand 640 molecular swabs, 21 new infections were detected (three of which concern migrants present in the Trieste area) with a positive percentage of 0.45% .
There are also a thousand 418 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 2 cases were detected (0.14%). Overall, therefore, we are talking about 23 infected who, compared to 6 thousand 58 tests, draw an average positivity rate of 0.35%. Yesterday, then, there were no deaths, admissions in intensive care units fell to 2 people – down by one unit – while those in other departments drop to 8 (-2 patients).
Finally, no positive results were recorded either among the staff of the health system or among the guests and operators of residential structures for the elderly. –
