SALERNO – The mass campaign for the tourist operators of the Amalfi Coast and Cilento can now start: from tomorrow, in fact, the inoculations will begin in the two most known territories of the province of Salerno, ready to safely welcome the many visitors who are ready to staying in major tourist centers.
Here Cilento. The vaccination campaign for all tour operators belonging to the Health District 71 Sapri / Camerota of the ASL will start tomorrow. A long-awaited news throughout the area, a destination every year for thousands of tourists who choose the beauties of Cilento to spend their summer holidays. To kick off vaccinations it was necessary to give the green light from the Campania Region, which arrived in the past few hours. “We are finally here, from tomorrow we will start with vaccinations dedicated to tour operators”, explained Rocco Calabrese, the medical director of the “Dell’Immacolata” hospital in Sapri. «All operators from the age of 18 will be able to undergo the inoculation. As regards the type of vaccine, Johnson & Johnson will be used in such a way that only one dose will be needed to obtain immunity ». Therefore, we will start from the vaccination center present in Palinuro and the first 200 operators belonging to the different categories who will undergo the administration, already included in the booking lists, will be the first. The following Saturday will continue with vaccinations that will be carried out at all vaccination centers present in the Health District 71 Sapri / Camerota. But another novelty, as declared by Calabrese, will concern the way in which this “special” campaign will be carried out: in fact, an itinerant camper will be available that will stop specifically in Le Piane, between Palinuro and Marina di Camerota, in Policastro Bussentino and Sapri. On board there will be specialized medical and nursing staff who will wait for all tour operators who intend to get vaccinated. “Thanks to the help of the camper – continued the medical director of the Sapri hospital – we will make sure to vaccinate the highest possible number of tour operators in our area of expertise in a short time”. Meanwhile, the open days dedicated to specific categories of people continue and the number of administrations has come to know the 10 thousand inoculated doses. “We are very satisfied with the results we have achieved even if in some municipalities there are still too few people who have decided to get vaccinated”.
Here Amalfi Coast. On the Costa Diva everything is ready to start the inoculations for tour operators. The plan is already approved, only the restocking of the doses is awaited to begin the inoculations. Today, at the latest tomorrow, the doses of Johnson & Johnson are expected to start throughout the territory from Positano to Vietri sul Mare. But right in the “gateway” town of the Amalfi Coast we will start with a few hours in advance: from today, in fact, all the workers in the tourism and commercial sector residing in the city renowned for its ceramics will be able to carry out vaccination with AstraZeneca. The administrations will be carried out by the ASL staff at the vaccination center set up inside the “Don Luigi Magliano” social center starting at 3 pm A list of 130 people will be compiled (numbered according to the order of arrival in the structure) and a supplementary list that can be used by the employees in case of any waiver. From tomorrow, except for twists, we will also start elsewhere.
