Ok by Cdc and Fda after an 11-day stop
(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, APRIL 23 – The US health authorities have revoked the suspension of the administration of the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine.
The decision of the CDC and the FDA comes after a commission of experts had given the green light to resume administration of the vaccine after an eleven-day break. According to the US authorities, the resumption of single-dose vaccine administration can resume immediately. The commission of experts had recommended the recovery by judging the benefits outweighing the risks and advising to indicate any risks to younger women, so as to allow them to choose which vaccine to do.
