Valle d’Aosta remains yellow while Italy becomes white

The incidence of infections under 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants

Valle d’Aosta maintains comforting data on the trend of infections from Covid-19. The incidence on the regional territory in recent days has remained below the limit of 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (today the ISS and the Ministry of Health will disseminate the official data of the week) and this situation allows access to the white zone. This is the second consecutive week that this happens and we will need to maintain this trend for another seven days to be able to have more freedom.

What is expected at the beginning of the month is therefore confirmed: Italy will be all white from Monday 21 June with the exception of Valle d’Aosta. Only from 28 June will the North-West corner of the boot also turn white.

It is probable that the President of the Region Erik Lavevaz, after having written unsuccessfully to Rome proposing to anticipate entry into the white zone, decides to sign another “lightning” ordinance to remove at least part of the restrictions still in force on the territory.
