Place swings, rocking chairs and other wheelchair accessible games
The Champlève playground is enriched with new games for children also accessible to the disabled and located by the Municipality of Valtournenche.
An investment of 15 thousand euros, explains the commissioner Elisa Cicco, intended to «make the mountains accessible safely and guarantee families that their children have games suitable for them. We have thought of all the children: both our fellow citizens and our guests ».
The Champlève play area is enriched by a double swing, an accessible castle with a slide, a gym and even rocking games (also located in the playground of the Crétaz pitch, in Breuil Cervinia).
“We had already made similar purchases previously – adds the commissioner Cicco – and, with this latest investment of about 15 thousand euros, we have increased the range of leisure opportunities available, to make our parks more and more inclusive”.
