Investment by the metropolitan city of Turin of approximately 350 thousand euros
The works for the construction of the new roundabout at the intersection between the Sp 78 of Vestignè and the Sp 56 of Strambino, in the territory of the Municipality of Vestignè, will begin at the end of the month, and will last approximately 90 days, which will be carried out by the Viability service of the City Turin underground.
The work, long awaited by the local population and by users of the area’s roads, will finally solve the many criticalities of the intersection. The new Vestignè roundabout will have a diameter of 40 meters, with a width of 3.5 meters for the entrance lane and 4.5 meters for the exit lane, and will be illuminated by 15 peripheral poles with LED projectors. The cost of the work is around 350 thousand euros. During the months necessary for the construction of the roundabout, some obligations and limitations will be in force in the construction site area: for the period 30 August-30 November special speed limits will be established and the prohibition of overtaking and parking, as well as a possible alternating one-way street regulated by traffic lights or movieri, only and exclusively when the working phases make it indispensable, and to the diversion of vehicular transit on alternative routes
