UDINE. There are 39 labels from Friuli Venezia Giulia awarded by the guide of “L’Espresso – The wines of Italy”, just published. An important presence, that of the Friuli vineyard, in particular in the sections concerning whites, desserts, rosés and the best ones under 15 euros in price. No mention among the top, however, as regards reds and sparkling wines, although there are producers who could easily be counted among the big Italians.
