Villorba, the vandals set a school bus on fire

This is the lapidary social comment (later removed) by Marco Serena, former mayor of Villorba and today municipal councilor of the League, on the vandalism carried out the other night by unknown persons in Villorba. And below the photo of one of Mom’s three mini-school buses that serves the nursery and primary schools of the municipality, set on fire in ours between Saturday and Sunday. As always, it was parked in the storage area at the intersection of via Libertà and via Dante.

Everything happened around 10.30pm on Saturday. Residents of the area saw the flames engulf the vehicle, and raised the alarm. In just a few minutes, the firefighters of the Treviso provincial command arrived and immediately put out the flames. But in the meantime he had been devoured by the stake at least half of the cockpit of the public transport. Once the flames were extinguished, and the whole area was made safe, the investigations by the technicians were started to discover the cause of the fire, which initially seemed to be accidental in nature. But evidently traces and clues were found that immediately made us think of a stunt, if not a premeditated act of vandalism.

The municipal councilor Lorenzo Borsato also went to the place to verify what had happened.
