About thirty people met in Piazza del Popolo despite the refusal of the demonstration by the Prefecture. Couple taken away by law enforcement

VITTORIO VENETO. No no-mask demonstration today, Sunday 2 May, in Vittorio Veneto after the refusal by the Prefecture to the request presented by Devis Bonaldo, who had announced the initiative days before.

But in the document announcing the forced renunciation of the public demonstration, Bonaldo had also called for the freedom to meet individually in any case. And so it was.

Today, Sunday 2 May, at 2 pm about thirty people showed up in dribs and drabs in Piazza del Popolo, finding it cordoned off.

Large deployment of forces deployed by the carabinieri and police. Most of those present were without masks. One couple was taken away by law enforcement because they refused to produce documents. Bonaldo spoke of “authoritarian drift” and announced other initiatives in the nearby provinces of Pordenone and Venice (Jesolo).
