Two groups of about ten people each, some armed with sticks, have faced each other in recent days a few meters from the historic center of Volpiano, and under the windows of some houses, shortly after dinner time. According to the most classic of scripts, slaps, punches, kicks and some blows with a stick flew.
At the expense of a 17-year-old boy, resident in the city, who then had to seek the care of the 118 doctors. And only the arrival of three carabinieri patrols from the Chivasso company, called by a couple of residents, avoided more serious consequences. Upon the arrival of the men of the weapon there was a mass flight of the participants in the violent quarrel. It took about ten days to patiently put together all the pieces of the dispute and identify the people involved, all young people aged 17 to 25, residing in the area, reported for brawl. According to the reconstruction of the investigators, the reason for the dispute is to be found in insults aimed at one of the participants who allegedly courted a girl from the other group. Hence the decision to take revenge, not with words, but with blows. The intention of the group of the girl’s friends was very clear, implemented, after a notice on social media collected by the other group. “When we saw them arrive with sticks – said the injured 17 year old – we didn’t run away. We were unarmed, but we thought we were stronger ». However, it is not a question of two bands, perhaps already protagonists of such episodes, but of two groups of friends who have not been able to deal with a banal quarrel with the normal dialectic. And that now they will have to face the path of a complaint. The judge will then evaluate the individual positions for any aggravating circumstances. The 17-year-old boy, hit with the stick, would also have indicated the person who attacked him. A similar event, albeit with less serious outlines, had happened in San Benigno Canavese at the beginning of the year. Also in that case, for reasons related to a disputed girl, a punitive expedition to a student was organized.
