Volunteer with dual citizenship and for thirty years in Italy he cannot leave Ukraine: “He would be considered a deserter”

An Italian citizen of Ukrainian origin has been blocked since this morning in Korczowa, on the border between Ukraine and Hungary, together with the delegation of Mediterranea Saving Humans. Although he has been residing in the Venetian for over 30 years and has dual citizenship, the Ukrainian armed forces claim that VM (these initials) is of Ukrainian citizenship and that he cannot leave the country.
