Wang Yi said that China and New Zealand are comprehensive strategic partners. The two sides have neither historical grievances nor actual conflicts. In recent years, China-New Zealand relations have generally developed smoothly, and dialogue and cooperation in various fields have developed vigorously. The two sides should make good use of the upgraded version of the China-Singapore Free Trade Agreement, speed up the negotiation and implementation of the “Belt and Road” specific cooperation plan, create new cooperation growth points such as clean energy, circular economy, and technological innovation, and promote the high-quality development of bilateral cooperation. It is hoped that Singapore will protect the legitimate rights and interests of companies from all countries, including Chinese companies.
