Wang Yi stated that we must clearly oppose interference in other countries’ internal affairs. China never interferes in the internal affairs of other countries, and never obstructs the development of other countries, and we will never accept any country’s interference in China’s internal affairs or obstruct China’s development. China today is no longer the China of a hundred years ago. No one or any force should underestimate the firm will and powerful ability of the Chinese people to defend national sovereignty, security, and development interests.
Wang Yi said that Taiwan is an inalienable part of Chinese territory. This is a basic fact recognized by the international community. Promoting the process of peaceful reunification of the motherland is an established policy that the Chinese government has always adhered to. For a period of time, some forces in the United States have tried to take risks on the Taiwan issue and continue to condone and encourage the separatist forces for Taiwan independence. This is extremely wrong and dangerous! We must warn these forces that the realization of complete national reunification is a historical trend that no one can stop, and it is the general trend of the times that no external forces can shake.
Wang Yi said that in the past few years, Hong Kong’s social chaos has been frequent and violence and terrorism have been rampant. The main source is that some local political forces have colluded with foreign forces and openly advocated “Hong Kong independence”, which constitutes China’s national security and Hong Kong’s “one country, two systems”. serious threat. The central government cannot sit idly by, nor should Hong Kong continue to suffer from unrest. Promote Hong Kong’s national security legislation in a timely manner and improve the relevant SAR election system, which is completely legitimate, legal and reasonable. The rule of law in Hong Kong can be restored and perfected, and “one country, two systems” will surely be stable and far-reaching.
