The entrepreneurs answered all the questions of the investigating judge. The lawyers have asked for an alternative measure to prison

BELLUNO. Three hours of interrogation. Alessio and Remo Dalla Santa, arrested as part of the Plastic connection investigation, were heard yesterday by the preliminary investigation judge Zancan. Three hours of discussion, during which the suspects answered all the questions posed by the investigating judge. The lawyers Antonio Prade and Massimo Montino are not unbalanced on the contents, but hope that the answers provided will allow at least the Dalla Santa to leave prison. The lawyers asked the judge to replace the precautionary measure of arrest and Zancan reserved. The decision will come in the next few days.

Alessio and Remo Dalla Santa ended up in prison following the investigation into the illegal disposal of plastic and waste, which departed from Campania and arrived in northern Italy. Altogether fourteen people have been arrested. The investigation, coordinated by the Venice District Anti-Mafia Prosecutor, saw the carabinieri of the Belluno investigative nucleus at work with the Nipaaf colleagues (forest police) and brought to light the traffic of special waste along the south-north axis of the Country.

The pivotal figure, defined as the “dominus of the criminal activity” by the Venetian investigating judge, was Salvatore Corcione, from Campania and referent of the Dalla Santa. Their relationships emerge from the interceptions made during the investigations, which made it possible to reconstruct the traffic of waste that was disposed of from Campania in untraceable ways thanks to some Venetian entrepreneurs who were part of the tour and who had made their companies available for this. scope.

On November 18, 2019 Salvatore Corcione calls Alessio Dalla Santa on a telephone number in the name of another person. “Look what … but when I arrive I’ll see you and I?” He asks. “Yes, yes, of course it is normal,” replies Dalla Santa. “See you for a moment and see how to set something up, come on,” Corcione says again. “There is work as long as you want, it’s not that there is no work … there is work to do as long as you want”, adds Alessio Dalla Santa later. “The only thing I tell you was to meet for a moment because all the work could well be strengthened.” And then he talks about “finding the square”.

Meanwhile, the investigations of the investigative unit of the Belluno carabinieri continue on the documents that were collected during the investigations.
