Decided extension of the transfer to the Viterbo landfill

(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 29 – The president of the Lazio Region Nicola Zingaretti signs an order in which he extends the delivery of waste from the capital to the Viterbo landfill. “For the umpteenth time – says the president – I was forced to issue an ordinance to help Rome and to cope with the dramatic situation of the city submerged by waste and try to temporarily solve the problem. The Municipality of Rome and Ama who manages the waste cycle, have lost control of the situation and unfortunately, instead of collaborating, they are fleeing from their responsibilities “.

Zingaretti also underlined that “if Rome does not fulfill its management and planning duties, we will proceed with the Commissioner of Rome Capital” on the issue of waste “due to manifest inability”. (HANDLE).
