Whelk: environmental crimes, metal carpentry workshop seized – breaking latest news

BUCCINO – The soldiers of the Buccino forest police station have seized a metal carpentry factory in the locality of “Cornito” and referred those responsible for violations of the Consolidated Environmental Law to the Judicial Authority. The investigations conducted by the military concerned, in particular, the aspects relating to emissions into the atmosphere: the inspected production plant, in fact, is used for the processing and welding of metal objects and surfaces and the installation of metal carpentry. All the electrical processing machinery present in the factory are equipped with pipes for conveying the emissions which are directed into a single pipeline with an outlet to the outside. Requested the display of the administrative documentation to verify the correspondence of the production cycle with respect to what was authorized, the military discovered that the work carried out in the welding processing plant of objects and metal surfaces was carried out in the absence of the prescribed emission authorization in the atmosphere in violation of the provisions of the Consolidated Environmental Law.
