For the death of the woodcutter Vitali Mardari, the employer Riccardo Sorarù was sentenced to four years and five months for manslaughter aggravated by non-compliance by the Court of Trento. The fatal accident at work took place on November 19 three years ago, in the Sagron Mis area. The forest manager had also been investigated for misdirection, as it was assumed that he had moved the body, covering it with branches, but this accusation did not hold up. There was no compensation: the insurance did not pay anything to the family, because Mardari had no working relationship with Sorarù.
