by admin

The adaptation of the premises of the multifunctional day hospital will last until September

The Valle d’Aosta Local Health Authority announces the start of work on the multifunctional day hospital of the Parini hospital. This is an intervention to adapt the spaces to be able to use the structure as a temporary Covid ward if the epidemiological situation worsens.

The area involved in the works is directly connected to the modular Covid + intensive care “triangle” and is located in the northern area of the hospital complex, on the ground floor.

“The activation, in case of need, will allow the hospitalization of 16 positive Covid patients without burdening the normal health activity of the hospital structures, minimizing interference to the operation of the departments and optimizing the interventions already performed previously”, explains the healthcare company.

The intervention will be completed in September. The work will follow “a program aimed at guaranteeing the full safety of DH patients, without interfering with the normal health activities of the ward”.
