Unlike many entrepreneurs, Canavese trade unionists do not believe that the difficulty in finding workers in the tourism and catering sector depends on the lack of desire to work or to be satisfied with low salaries. “The scarce availability of manpower in these sectors, which is reflected at a local and national level, we do not believe should be traced back to the citizenship income – explains Francesco Sciarra, secretary of Uiltucs for the Canavese area.
