This is the figure assigned to the province of Belluno by MIT, the Ministry of Infrastructure. “In the three-year period 2021-2023 the provinces of Veneto will have an additional 76 million euros available for the extraordinary maintenance of bridges and viaducts in the road network of their competence”, says the minister Federico D’Incà, following the agreement reached between the MIT and the State-City and Local Autonomies Conference on the ministerial decree, in agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

“The figures – he continues – were initially provided for in the August decree and were strengthened in the Budget law for 2021. At the territorial level, the province of Belluno will receive 7 million 921 thousand euros, that of Treviso 12 million 899 thousand euros, that of Venice 11 million 460 thousand euros, that of Padua 11 million 837 thousand euros, that of Rovigo 6 million 543 thousand euros, that of Verona 13 million 248 thousand euros and that of Vicenza 12 million 40 thousand euros “.

“As specified by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility”, D’Incà observes, “the interventions allowed include the technological monitoring of the structural elements, the adaptation of safety barriers and the strengthening of pylons and other anti-seismic or protection from hydrogeological risk. The demolition and reconstruction works are also part of the extraordinary maintenance ».

In this way “we proceed to increase the degree of safety of bridges and viaducts of the road network managed by provinces and metropolitan cities: an important response for the safety of territories and citizens”, he concludes. –
