Fu Zhenghua sacked the Ministry of Justice, Beijing Public Security Bureau emergency team
On the morning of October 2, after the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection website announced the news of Fu Zhenghua’s fall, the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau immediately held a special party committee meeting to report Fu Zhenghua’s investigation.
Qi Yanjun, Deputy Mayor of Beijing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. The Party Committee of the Municipal Public Security Bureau unanimously stated that it firmly supports and resolutely supports the investigation and punishment of Fu Zhenghua.
The meeting emphasized that the overall situation must be Xi Jinping as the core, comprehensively and thoroughly “eliminate the poisonous influence of Fu Zhenghua”, and comprehensively “purify the political ecology of the capital’s public security.”
That night, the Ministry of Justice also made an urgent statement. Tang Yijun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of the Ministry of Justice of the Communist Party of China, presided over the (enlarged) meeting of the Party Leadership Group to inform the news of Fu Zhenghua’s fall. Li Wei, leader of the third group of supervision of the central political and legal organs, attended the meeting and gave a speech.
The meeting also emphasized that with Xi Jinping at the core, “eliminating the influence of Fu Zhenghua’s poisonous influence” as an important content of party history study and education and team education and rectification.
Beijing police “forces the palace” Xi Jinping
Fu Zhenghua served as the director of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau for a long time. After he was dismissed, the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau urgently made a stand and aroused public concern. Five police officers involved were detained under criminal law. But in the end, the case reversed, and the procuratorate made a decision not to prosecute the five policemen and found Lei Yang to be a prostitute.
At that time, it was reported that the Ministry of Public Security had to deal with the police involved in the Lei Yang incident because of Xi Jinping’s personal approval, but it was boycotted by the public security system. More than 4,000 police officers in Beijing wrote a letter to the highest level, saying that the arrest of the police involved had hit their “morale” and damaged their “image”. If they had to deal with it, they would resign.
At the same time, the Ministry of Public Security used “too much internal turbulence in the team and unfavorable work” as an excuse for delays. Some people inside the police even clamored: “Never open this hole!”
Tang Jingyuan said that Beijing 4000 police jointly protested, and Xi Jinping compromised in threats. This farce was controlled by Fu Zhenghua. Xi was forced to be a “Han Xiandi”, and Fu Zhenghua also successfully tested Xi Jinping’s weakness in relying on “knife handles” to protect his personal power.
“However, after Xi Jinping suffered such a loss, I am afraid that Fu Zhenghua is a nail that must be unplugged in his heart. With this ambitious and cruel official, he will sooner or later make an inch and perform the forced palace play again”, Tang Jingyuan believes, “Follow With the approach of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Central Committee, this escalation of the CCP’s internal fighting is inevitable, and I am afraid that there will be such fierce materials that will be thrown out later.”
After the Lei Yang incident, in March 2018, Fu Zhenghua was suddenly transferred to the Minister of Justice. At that time, public opinion was hotly debated, and this was a precursor to Fu Zhenghua’s fall.
Beijing current politics observer Hua Po told The Epoch Times, “There has been a lot of talk about Fu Zhenghua’s going to fall. In 2018, he was transferred from the public security system to the judicial system as Minister of Justice. It’s because the senior management thinks that the time has come and they start to do something.”
Hua Po also said that the entire officialdom is being purged. At this stage, no official is absolutely safe, especially the political and legal system. Jiang sent people to dominate for many years, and Xi Jinping will definitely clean it up.
The political and legal system was purged
In February this year, the authorities launched a new round of cleansing of the political and legal system. By August 16, the authorities announced that nearly 20,000 political and legal police officers have voluntarily surrendered to the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, and 49,163 police officers suspected of violating discipline and law have been filed for investigation.
The education and rectification of the second batch of political and legal teams was officially launched in mid-August and will last for about three months, targeting the central and provincial political and legal units. It is not ruled out that more political and legal “big tigers” will fall in the future.
