In a market that has difficulty in returning to pre-Covid 19 levels, a small surprise – in Italy – is represented by the growth of the D segment, the link between that of medium-sized cars and that of luxury (or almost). The Unrae data relating to the first four months ruled that if the number of registrations, compared to 2019, fell to just under 80 thousand units (about 2 thousand less), the share rose to 13.1% against 11 , 5% from two years ago. And it is evident that the growth has gone to the detriment of the C segment which has lost more than five percentage points. The cars of the D segment can be considered the family par excellence, but at the same time the composition of the top ten is certainly interesting among models of a certain seniority, tested station wagons and trendy SUVs.
