Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, January 16. The 2021 Sports Law Hot Events Webinar was held on the 16th. This seminar is dedicated to promoting the development of sports law, strengthening the publicity of the rule of law in sports, and expanding the influence of sports law practice.

More than 300 experts, scholars, lawyers and sports law enthusiasts from universities, law firms, sports management agencies, and sports enterprises participated in this conference through the Internet. Hebei Arbitration Association, Zhangjiakou Municipal Bureau of Justice and other units organized collective participation in the conference .

In 2021, China’s sports rule of law and planning work has made significant progress. Important steps have been taken in the revision of the “Sports Law”, and a series of sports reform and development policies have been introduced, providing a solid legal guarantee for the construction of a strong sports country.

This seminar was co-organized by 13 teaching and research institutions and social organizations from all over the country. The topics were divided into Olympic Games and large-scale sports events, national fitness and security obligations and self-willing risks, football and athlete rights protection, anti-doping, sports intellectual property rights There are five sections on e-sports, and 27 scholars and lawyers made speeches on related hot topics.

Not long ago, the organizers of the conference jointly held the 2021 sports legal event comment collection activity. At this seminar, the participants used online voting to select and determine the top ten sports legal events in China in 2021.
