Not to mention a long series of competitions and trophies: practically the victory, when Andrea grabs a fishing rod and approaches a stream, is a sentence. But even the father, 63 years old, a former veterinarian of the ASL / To4 now retired, is not joking: he abandoned the competitive spirit for years “because work and family did not allow me to follow all the stages of the championships” in 2021 he took away his satisfaction to win the title of individual Italian champion of trout fishing in the stream, in the Master category, in Chiesa Valmalenco, in the province of Sondrio.

«I passed on my passion for fishing to my son Andrea who also made a profession, opening a specialized shop in Castellamonte. Andrea in turn encouraged me to get back in touch with the competitive world. Compared to many other friends and competitors, I have participated with a competitive spirit, but the victory, the placement, the podium have never conditioned me.
