DONNAS

A new football reality is appearing on the Valle d’Aosta low football stage: it is Pont Donnas, a team chaired by the former attacking midfielder of Pont Donnaz, Quincitava and Red Devils Oscar Mascia and which will begin its adventure starting from the Third category.

The social colors will be red and blue. The team will play its home games at the Crestella di Donnas, as the sports director Bruno Bosonin explains: «It will be at least ten years that no first team has played at Crestella – affirms Bosonin -. we are very happy to be able to return to that pitch with a very important goal: to let the local players play and above all to have fun. In addition to the Third category, we also intend to form a team for veterans and one of Little Friends of the 2015, 2016 and 2017 vintages – comments Bosonin -. At the moment we have the coach, Daniele Nicco, while Roberto Milani will be the second. As for the squad, at the moment we count on some players like Bardhoku, Cauteruccio, Duguet and Glarey. After Ferragosto we will have a company meeting and only then will we define what the other members of the squad will be.

As managers we will have Thierry Romei, Simone Frassy, Fulvio Cuoghi, Claudio Fava, Davide Caffo and Stefano Pandolfini – explains Bononin -. Most likely, at the end of August we will also begin the preparation, which we will always do at Crestella, our only reference field, in view of the start of the championship, which should begin at the end of September, Covid-19 permitting. We have no particular ranking objectives, other than that, as mentioned, to have fun all and let locals play, who otherwise would be stopped. This year in the third category a team that is to win should be Valchiusella, until last year in the second and also in the high ranking positions. In the team of veterans – comments Bosonin – there will be Bonin, Cesaro, Clerin, Lucà, Ugo, Vairos and the same Frassy and Mascia ». –
