Two players under contract and a well underway negotiation: the Teens Biella market in Serie C Gold also moves, with the arrival of the playmaker Matteo Rinaldi and the long Daniele Perino. Only the details are missing, however, for the agreement with Bertrand Ndzie, also a pivot originally from Cameroon.
The first, 175 cm, will support the confirmed Dotti and Bergamaschi in directing: last season in Cassino, in Serie B, he also lived an experience in Lithuania where he had spent a year for study reasons, playing in the third and fourth series in a country that thrives on basketball. In Piedmont he grew up as a basketball player in the Borgomanero College nursery. Perino is a 197 cm strong winger, with a long experience in C and D on the regional parquet: last season he played in C Gold, facing the biancoblù as an opponent, with the Cirié tank top.
«Rinaldi – says the new coach Marco Cardano – is a winger born in 2001 with points in his hands, a guard who can also carry the ball. We expect chutzpah from him and an important contribution on both sides of the pitch. Perino will be the replacement of the long-time owner, a role he has already held several times in his career on the Serie D and Serie C fields ».
For the key role under the basket, the official arrival of Bertrand Ndzie seems one step away: last year in Serie B in Omegna, he has just recovered from an Achilles tendon injury. He is 21 years old and 203 centimeters tall, with the athletic means above the category average as a trademark. In Teens he would collect the legacy of Ulisse Castagnetti, one of the non-reconfirmed. «To complete the team – comments the general manager Roberto Martinotti – a guard and a strong forward are still missing. We are already following several young people and we hope to be able to close the negotiations by the end of this month ».
Preparation will begin on Wednesday 25 August, under the orders of the new athletic trainer Luca Perona. After three days of testing, the sessions will continue from Monday 30 between the Forum and the Pralino sports center, waiting to know the dates of the new season which will see a group of 12 teams.
