Golden Shoe Toby Alderweireld (34) has launched a new gin with his drinks brand. The bottle is a tribute to the farming year that the defender experienced in 2023. The title and cup with Antwerp, followed by the Golden Shoe, provided a year with a golden edge. The bottle, how could it be otherwise, had a golden appearance.

We have known for some time that Toby Alderweireld is not only concerned with football. In addition to being a rock in the surf at national champion Antwerp, the Golden Shoe is also the signboard of MM Antverpia, the drinks brand that Alderweireld founded together with business partner Thomas Tisson. The defender is doing well there too. Some of his spirits have already been offered in the top restaurant Hof van Cleve. But it doesn’t stop there.
Alderweireld has therefore had a good year, in addition to sports, also on a business level. But to put his sporting year even more in the spotlight, he is now launching a special gin. A golden copy, how could it be otherwise, with Antwerp Central Station central and 20:23 also incorporated in the details.
“It is a tribute to the unforgettable year of champions, celebrated with the Golden Shoe,” MM Anverpia said. “This limited edition gin, carefully distilled with hints of yuzu and lemongrass, offers a unique taste experience. This collector’s item is only available in limited editions, with strictly 2023 numbered and signed bottles.”
