Alagna, director of Sala resigns “Once the best pieces have been sold, it makes no sense to continue”

PAVIA

Earthquake in Alagna, a team that plays in the Promotion: Diesse Beppe Sala who had joined the Lomellina management last summer resigned. A decision, as he explains himself, taken due to differences with the rest of the management. «There were no longer the conditions to continue – Sala underlines -, I disagree with some decisions such as those to let important players like Migliavacca, Rognoni, Spatafora and Santobuono leave. I am very sorry because in my opinion the team had the potential to aim for a high ranking position ».

For the moment the role of sporting director has remained vacant and the Lomellina club has not yet chosen a successor. In the meantime, Sala has already found a new accommodation, at Pro Novara, a club in the Piedmontese second category, always in the role of sporting director.

In the meantime, Garlasco also “fished” from Alagna, signing the defender Federico Rognoni, freed from the other Lomellino club, and therefore returned to wearing the yellow-blue jersey with which he had already played in the past.

The last round of group F saw the confirmation of the hierarchies at the top of the standings: Virtus Binasco continues to lead (victorious 3-0 at Zeccone over Viscontea), and Magenta, while in the play off area Robbio (who won the comeback 3-2 in Vittuone) and Landriano who won the provincial derby at home against Bressana. In fifth position, which at the end of the season would guarantee access to the playoffs, remains the Union Calcio Basso Pavese who in the last round prevailed 2-1 at home over the City of Vigevano. A close fight for the promotion play-offs that will probably continue for several weeks, since at the top no one misses for the moment and there are several teams that are marching at very high rates. –
