The other announcement concerns a seasoned technician like Carlo Truffi: the former Apos Stradella coach, with a successful past in Bressana, restarts from Chignolese, a club that has just been relegated to the Second category.

Barbieri leaves Montebello with a wealth of knowledge and a strong disappointment for the epilogue to the play out, where his team, with the same results, is relegated for the worst placing in the league: “We did our best, but it wasn’t enough . I lived an intense experience with a group of guys who have always followed me in trying to put the requests into practice. On a human level, it has been a fantastic season, a cohesive group with values ​​has been created. I’m leaving Montebello greatly enriched as a man and as a coach ». Now a new opportunity opens up for Barbieri alongside Albertini in the Oltrepo: “I face this new experience with great humility, in the hope of being able to be useful to the coach and to the players, with the utmost professionalism.”

If Barbieri has recently started his career as a coach, Mr. Truffi falls into the category of expert technicians, with a full-bodied curriculum. After his recent experience at the helm of the Apos, which was interrupted with the exemption in March, Truffi is ready to leave Chignolese, just down in second position: «I have known the manager Mantovani for years and when he called me, we immediately agreed. They contacted me after Mr. Antonucci, a friend who was my deputy at Bressana and Apos, expressed his intention not to stay.
