Also skip the Lake Louise super-G for too much snow. The FIS has foreseen the recovery of the first descent in Colorado, where there will be a demanding program: two super-Gs on Thursday and Friday, two descents on Saturday and Sunday
No super-G men in Lake Louise. After the cancellation of the first descent, scheduled for Friday, bad weather also forced the cancellation of the third race in the Canadian town. The snowfall following Saturday’s descent – Mayer’s victory over Kriechmayr and Feuz, Paris eighth – made it impossible to clear the track.
Quattro a Beaver
—
The teams then leave Canada and head towards Beaver Creek, where the recovery of the skipped descent at Lake Louise has been included. The new calendar therefore includes a downhill training session on Wednesday – the one originally scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled -, then two super-Gs on Thursday 2 December (7.45pm in Europe) and Friday 3 December (6.45pm in Europe), plus two descents, at 7pm. European one on Saturday, at 20 on Sunday. The decisions of the Fis on the recovery of the super-G jumped at Lake Louise are awaited.
Women
—
The women, on the other hand, will have to recover the giant that jumped at Killington on Saturday. The most likely hypothesis is that Courchevel will be chosen, where it will compete on Tuesday 21 December, two days after the fast races in Val d’Isère.
