It is the most important public act of the 14th white and blue retreat at the foot of the Tre Cime and the fans replied “present”.
With a delay, at 9.45 pm, the presentation of the team begins. At the microphone there is the presenter of Radio Club 103, Barbara Paolazzi, in the stands about 400 fans spaced and with masks. It was precisely the fear of contagion that moved the location of the presentation, on the recommendation of the Police Headquarters, from Piazza Santa Giustina to the field.
The atmosphere warms up with some cheers from the stands and some applause to the protagonists who arrive on the sidelines. First of all, space for the institutional greetings of Mayor Tatiana Pais Becher, with thanks to the supporters of this umpteenth retreat, a sign of the link between Lazio fans and Auronzani citizens. The President Roberto Padrin greeted the Province, followed by Senator Paolo Saviane.
Then the highlight with the parade of players to the center of the field, to the applause of the supporters. Radu, Milinkovic, Felipe Anderson, Caicedo and Luis Alberto are particularly praised.
Much affection also for the Olimpia eagle but above all for Mr. Sarri, the last to be nominated and overwhelmed by the choir and applause.
«There is a great atmosphere here», said the coach, «I feel at home. There is a crazy welcome and a lot of enthusiasm, I thank you all ».
In the final word also to president Lotito who thanked the fans for the great support. “Auronzo is now our home, the welcome is super, we feel well liked”, said the Lazio number one who then awarded the CS Auronzo for his 100th anniversary.
On the shores of the lake a fireworks display then concluded the evening in the best possible way. Yesterday, in addition to the vaccination session for the whole team, space for the usual double training session.
In the past few days, with some shots by the lake, the second jersey for next season was also presented, which was then used in the friendly match against Triestina.
Today we go back to work immediately, without pauses and with a lot of intensity. These are the last days of this 14th retreat in Auronzo. On Tuesday at 6 pm the team will face a friendly against Serie C Padova before saying goodbye to the village of the Tre Cime. The appointment for next year has already been set, with the hope of being able to bring the club’s women’s team to Cadore as well. In the meantime, work is already underway for 2023, with the contract stipulated between the company and the administration which includes a clause to extend the winning combination Lazio – Auronzo. –
